o. Do I get a phone number? Can I keep my current phone number?

VOZ will assign you a Puerto Rico phone number when you subscribe - you can pick where in Puerto Rico you would like your phone number from.

If you'd like to keep your current Puerto Rico phone number, you'll be requested to complete a Local Number Portability Form and to send us a copy of your last phone bill.

There is a one-time $5.00 charge per number for porting services.

The process of "porting" your existing phone number to VOZ can take 5-10 business days from the time we receive all the documents which the local phone company requires. DO NOT cancel your existing phone service until the porting has been completed.

Once the porting has been completed, your originally assigned VOZ phone number will ceize to work.
